For over thirty years on the international stage, he has performed and continues to perform the leading roles under the baton of the world’s most renowned conductors: Zubin Mehta with the Israel Philharmonic, Riccardo Muti at La Scala, Antonio Pappano at Covent Garden, Giuseppe Sinopoli, James Levine at the Met in NY, Daniel Barenboim at the Staatsoper in Berlin, Sir Simon Rattle with the Berliner Philharmoniker, Sir John Eliot Gardiner at the Royal Albert Hall in London, Sir András Schiff in Salzburg, Ivor Bolton, Fabio Luisi, and many others.

The major theaters where he performs include: the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Covent Garden in London, Opéra Bastille and Garnier in Paris, Liceu in Barcelona, Staatsoper in Munich and Berlin, Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Semperoper in Dresden, Theater an der Wien, La Fenice in Venice, Arena di Verona, Carlo Felice in Genoa, Teatro Comunale in Florence, Opera di Roma, National Theatre in Tokyo, San Francisco Opera, and the National Theatre and IIC of Tokyo.

In 2017, he had the honor of being inducted into the Roll of Honor of the Metropolitan Opera in New York for surpassing 100 performances.

There are numerous CDs, DVDs, and films available on the market that feature his artistic performances for the most prestigious record labels: EMI, DECCA, TELDEC, SONY, DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON, OPERA RARA, ARTE NOVA, and TF1.

For several years, he has been teaching at the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program of the Metropolitan Opera House in New York.

In 2025, he will again be engaged in various productions at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the Santa Fe Opera in the state of New Mexico.
